We hope that you had a lovely half term holiday and are starting to get yourself ready for the new half term- whether that is at home or school.

Good Morning Year 4, we hope you all had a great 2 week half term break. We are now back in school mode and ready for our last half term.
This week we would like you to complete these activtiies:
1. Continue doing 1 page from your CGP Maths and English book each day. Soon we will be starting some virtual learning which will be exciting.
2. Two my Maths activitie to complete, addition and subtraction booster and bar charts statistics. Also catch up on any tasks you have missed over the weeks.
3. A battle on TT Rockstars against Year 3.
4. A spanish acitivtiy set by Ms Butler which you will find on our google classroom.
5. On the Home Learning Half term assignment on the google classroom send us a description, picture or video of something you did over the half term break.

Hi everyone,
We are very excited to be introducing Google Hangout.
This will start on Monday and Tuesday for a catch up and our Mostermind quiz. Each teacher will do 4 google hangouts, one with each team point group.
****Please note the link to be clicked for Google Hangout will only appear on the Hangout day, this is for safety reasons****
All you need to bring is some paper and a pen for the Mosstermind quiz.

Good morning everyone!
Here's the video with this week's tasks on.
1. Maths and English books as usual. Try to keep up with the marking too please.
2. Pobble 365 activity. There will be a picture every day and some questions to answer. There is also a story starter, so use that to start you off writing your own story. It's not London today, it's New York!

3. Times Table Rockstars battle - 8 times table. Sit with the answers in front of you to start with if you need to, then try to remember them off by heart.
4. Have a go at making some origami designs. I've put 2 links up but you can search for ones you want to do.

This week is the last week of this half term - we break up on Friday for our Whit half term for 2 weeks.

3. Complete the coding assignment - this is to design a game for The Battle of Marathon on Scratch.

Year 6 Leavers' Hoodies: If you would like a hoodie, the cost is £8.00 - school are contributing the remaining cost. Hoodies come in sizes 9-11, 12-13 and Young Adult and can be selected on ParentPay. See below for an image of these sizes. The hoodies will have the MPJS logo on the front and the number 20 on the back with your names inside.
Deadline for payment via ParentPay is 16th June 2020. Unfortunately, any orders received after this date will not be processed.

Good morning Year 5, here are this week’s tasks:

3. Help with the Year 5 vs Year 6 TT Rockstar battle.

5. Google Classroom activity: we have based this weeks task on International family day on the 15th May. You can either be creative and create a family tree, either on Google docs and upload pictures or you can draw one with pictures and upload a picture of your drawing to Google Classroom. Alternatively, you can create an autobiography or a biography either on yourself or a member of your family or a powerpoint. Don't forget to upload these under the home learning tab or Miss Horvath and I will miss out on seeing all of your hard work.

Hi Year 3,
Here are this week's tasks.
1. One or two pages of your Maths and English workbook every day. Don't forget to mark these to see how you're getting on.
2. Research into hieroglyphics. Write a message using the correct symbols. Upload your message to Google Classroom (in English if necessary but a picture of your message/ poster would be brilliant if possible).
3. Try to make a flip book. This can be with any pictures you like. You don't have to draw an alien! But I thought Muhammad explained how to do it very well.

Write a set of instructions for: a game you have enjoyed, a new game you would like to invent or how to bake something. We would like you to submit your set of instructions on the google classroom by Friday. Remember to include: title, equipment, method (using time conjunctions) and even a top tip.
If you want to go above and beyond you could even take pictures to show your method or complete a step by step video guide to show your instructions.
