Year 5 have started off their first Science topic by creating their own Solar System to help us remember the names and order of the planets and understand that all of the planets are not the same size and the same distance away from the sun.

Moss Park spent a day exploring Spanish culture! We started the day with some flamenco and salsa dancing, then went on to try a variety of activities, including board & card games, outdoor games, a Euro quiz, videos and artwork inthe style of Picasso and Gaudi. We kept our strength up with a Spanish themed lunch. Fantastico!!!

Our Gardening Club are "keen and green"! We now have onions and garlic growing well and the raspberry, blueberry and strawberry plants are looking very healthy.. Some potatoes have been planted too. Our next step will be to plant some other vegetable crops, including carrots, peas and beans. Keep up the good work!

Year 3 and Year 4 are having a competition to see who can grow the most potatoes. We planted some seed potatoes just before the Easter holidays. The stems and leaves have now appeared... and 4H are in the lead so far. The race is on!
